New ideas are what makes design great.
That's why we support and work with UNLV students to find them a meaningful place in the graphic design world today and turn their fresh outlook into new ideas.
Creating this organization was a natural step for such a program and will help facilitate the growth of both the students and the program. Our faculty advisors Sang-Duck Seo and Helga Watkins are amazing designers and are extremely motivated. With great advisors and a potent pool of talented students, SAGA is an upcoming design force in Las Vegas design community.
SAGA’s goal is to create a united and dynamic community of designers at UNLV. To make this happen we help prepare our members for the professional design world before graduate making our students more competative and to expose our members to the local design community creating lasting ties between the professional industry and our school. We also hope to help build the growing graphics programs at UNLV and help create a design school people talk about.
